Abstract
Skin cancers occupy about 4% in all cancers and fifth in frequency. All of the skin cancers, the squamous cell carcinoma is one of the most frequently developed as much as basal cell carcinoma. It appears commonly on head, neck, dorsum of hand and forearm where were exposed to sunlight. Bowen¡¯s disease is intraepidermal squamous cell carcinoma involving skin and certain mucocutaneous junctions. The disease usually persues a slow, relatively benign course but may progress to invasive squamous cell carcinoma. The present case, 34 years old male, showed generalized skin lesions which was a characteristic multiple, dark, brownish elevated plaques with scales. Biopsy revealed histologically typical findings of Bowen¡¯s disease. We have experienced such a patient that large bulging mass on upper thigh was surgically excised and the soft tissue defect was covered by using of rotation of the Tensor fasciocutaneous flap. We describe the experience with a review of literatures.
